Jazz Swing Backing Tracks Are Live

By JammLab

Jazz Swing is live. It's the third style on JammLab after Rock and Funk, and our first jazz style.

Same idea as before: you build a progression bar by bar, and the backing is played from real recorded samples, no AI involved. It works in every key.

Not just medium swing

Most jazz backing tracks sit at a comfortable medium swing. That's where a lot of practice happens, but it's not where every tune lives. Jazz Swing on JammLab runs at any tempo from 51 to 190 BPM, so you can take a ballad slow, work through a tune at medium swing, or push it up-tempo.

Real jazz chords

Jazz Swing plays the chords jazz charts are actually written with: 6 and minor 6 chords, 9ths and minor 9ths, 7sus4, altered dominants like 7b9, 7#9 and 7#11, minor-major 7 and more. If a chord isn't covered yet, you'll hear the closest one, and the editor tells you which.

Open the editor, pick a standard from the library or write your own changes, and press play.
